The Ralph and Virginia Howard Memorial Education Fund was established to benefit students seeking assistance with education costs.
This scholarship is available to part-time or full-time college, university, seminary, or other post-secondary education students who are members of First Baptist Church, Carthage, Missouri, and are attending or planning to attend an institution of higher education.
This scholarship application will require:
- GPA
- Essay: No fewer than 300 words and no more than 500 words on the following:
"In what ways has your church community shaped your understanding of God, belonging, and purpose?"
Pastor Reference (which will automatically be emailed to your pastor for their completion after you complete this application)
The deadline to apply is March 9th, 2026. The recipients will be announced in May 2026, and funds will be applied by the fall 2026 semester.
